Got the back-to-school blues? The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium has just the cure! Every Friday night in September, the planetarium shows laser concerts from such bands as U2, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Metallica and Led Zeppelin — with no repeats!
The Rauch Planetarium's Back to School Laser Daze will show Laser Led Zeppelin on Sept. 4, Pink Floyd's 1979 album The Wall on Sept. 11, Laser Radiohead on Sept. 18 and Pink Floyd's 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon on Sept. 25. All these shows are at 11 p.m.
You can check out a list of the songs at each performance here.
No-repeat Fridays in September lets you sample the various laser shows the Rauch Planetarium offers. There is also a laser-light show on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 10 p.m.
If you're a University of Louisville student, you can get up to four tickets for each show for a mere $5.
